Yeah well where to start.

(OK Bart, follow your McDonalds training for an SOC give them good news, stuff they can improve on, and finish with some more good points and what to concentrate on).

Well for the first time in a very long time, we were forced to bat first. I think it would be fair enough to say this is not our strongest point but hey if the captain got there on time, maybe he could have called heads and won the toss

So into bat Chan and Paul into the fire first up. Not much to write about but well take 27 runs no matter how we get them! And according to the rules of Chan maths, with 3 outs, they actually got 42 runs

Callum and Steve I personally believe that this as a partnership has a lot of promise. Id be interested to know how comfortable you guys are batting together; but a good solid 36 runs. 2 outs so not a shabby effort.

Robskip and the Captain yeah well ok the captain got bowled by a chick. Let it go now please. Few too many outs (4 in total) but a nice leading edge 7 from Rob.

Damo and Greg yeah well 8 outs total for 3 runs. Not good for the stats but if you used Chan-Maths

Our total 92 extras 46 yeah, sheesh!

OK onto the fielding.

Well they tried something a bit different leading with their probable best partnership so good advice from Damo to bring himself on we had to keep doing the same and their first partnership was probably what broke our back in the end. That and not taking the chances we had.

Highlight of the fielding Chan. I think youve come on in leaps and bounds in the last month or so with your fielding keep up the good work.

Steve excellent keeping again and you should have had that runout when the Hindenburg was running down the pitch. He was out foot and bat in the air but hey, never mind.

Just like to say I was bitterly disappointed with my bowling I dont know how many lucky toe of the bats they got, but it was pretty disappointing sorry just had to put a plug in for myself

Damo nice strike back from the batting performance to not give up a run. Good stuff.

Steve again an excellent all round performance well done bat, ball and keeping.

So really, the thing we have to concentrate on is the fielding (inclusive of you Chan in light of your improvements!), not giving away as many extras (we conceded 42 ow!) and just keep enjoying it.

As Greg said after the match, it would be good to play them again I think they are in the ranks of teams such as the Raiders and the Apes and we know we can whip them when our tails get up.

Have a great Friday, and see you all next week.

Where to start? How about a first over costing 28 runs? Gutted.

Nonetheless, getting to see Barty get skittled by leaving a slooow ball on the stumps was worth the price of admission.

As mein fuhrer...er, I mean Captain Maverick said - 42 extras is just insane. We should be looking to limit ourselves to 16 or less per match - which means every bowler gets to bowl just one in their two overs.

Yep, I feel quite comfortable batting with Steve - the strike rotates quite a bit.
