That was a helluva game!  Talk about snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

We didn't convert a good enough percentage of our chances in the field.  They batted sensibly, but I don't think we varied our attack enough to trouble them.  Peter's spin continues to develop well, in what will be a good string to our collective bow.

Obviously, a disasterous start to the run-chase.  It really got the Eagles fired up in the field, and they were taking the chances we offered.  Katene and Chan added some sanity to the mix, but the wickets still tumbled.

It wasn't til the third partnership where the combination of few wickets and a seemingly impossible target quelled the noise in the field.

They weren't worried until the last three overs, after Damo and I took 21 off the first over.  We had their full attention, and they couldn't believe they were staring down the barrel.

Shoutout to Greg and Damo for leading the charge with the bat - both carved off boundaries and still avoided wickets.  Best supporting batsmen to Phil and I, who both did a good job of rotating the strike and farming some runs.
