They were short, and I agreed to let them bat first.

Bowling:

Not pretty.

Their partnerships scored 43, 27, 48, 35 for a rather large total of 153.  I don't think I'm being inaccurate, harsh or pessimistic when I say that was the worst fielding performance I've ever seen from the Pornstars.  We held a grand total of 4 catches and effected only 5 run-outs, and I think we had 2 or 3 times as many opportunities.

Shoutout to Gatch for being our least worst bowler, conceding 13 from his two overs - not the 9 according to Damon.

Batting:

We started with a hiss and a roar with Paul and Chan taking 21 off the first over.  However, five wickets would fall in the next three overs to leave the total on 21.

Greg and Simon batted second, and they put in a respectable 35.  There were two runouts, and Greg was comprehensively bowled by Aaron.

Pete and I were third, and we managed to claw back some of the deficit with a wicketless 53.  Pete showed us some of the batting that we know he's capable of and has eluded him of late.

JR was the final batsman, and I sportingly chose to bat myself again - Captain's prerogative!  Needing 45 was always going to be a struggle, but not impossible.  We were on target after the first over with 11 off it - however, the bowling tightened up and more dot balls and singles started creeping in.  In the end, we each got out once each (my first of the season) for a total of 24.

Shoutout to Simon for his continued good form with the bat, scoring 18 off 15.
Honourable mention to Pete who put in a solid 15 to retreive his average from Bart territory.

Generally:

We had 7, they had six.  They were without their best player and one of their better fielders.  We were without two of our better players (Damo and Steve).  It was an even contest.

We just couldn't catch a cold out there, let alone throw the stumps down.  The bowling was nothing special nor nothing disasterous, but our fielding is where we lost this game.  Our batting was not too bad - 133 against a six-fielder team.

We won two quads which is not too shabby.  Now we're done with grading, expect me to be anal-retentive about quads again.

Personally:

Like all the bowlers, I got carted around and didn't get alot of help in the field.  Annoyed not to get at least one wicket.

Batting-wise I was obviously happy with my first innings.  I felt in fine touch for the second innings, but a combination of better bowling and two players on the backnet meant I was struggling to accelerate the scoring.

My keeping was nothing special, but I'm feeling more and more confident behind the stumps.
