Well played.
Some handy players in that side - not a complete unit though, and quite slack in the field.
After their stonking start, we did well to keep our heads up and squeeze them hard. After their first of 45, a total of 99 was a good effort.
Chan and Damo's bowling deserve a mention. Chan was a bit more erratic, but got 3 catches and a runout from the 11 legitmate balls he bowled. Damo took two bowled, and a catch while bowling at a fair click.
Speaking of clicks, Greg's batting did just that, as he blasted 31 off 12 and tried hard to run Damo out to lose the quad. An awesome start to our chase, and really took the wind out of their fielding.
Bart and Si had the first look at their best bowlers which gave Chan and I a preview - we managed to keep them wicketless when they bowled to us.
Interestingly, both teams took 12 wickets - we just scored more runs.
We took 3 of the quads, missing the 12 run quad. Quack quack.
I see we've got our bonus points for paying our subs - so we're now placed 2nd on the table.
