I was rather slutted with myself for that last over costing the quad. Mostly I'm pissed for bowling over the wicket to Victor, who plays with a straight bat and likes to get in behind it. Slapped for 7. gragh.
Shoulda been 7-1, but 6-2 will just have to do.
Well done to Chan for getting the ducky by running away from the ball in the field.
Greg and Damo had several runouts where they gave up part-way. I don't think any of us should be doing this. At least if you run, you'll usually force the fielder to throw rather than take the bails off. Same goes for catches - even if it's going right for the fielder, keep running because drops happen all the time.
What you call is important, but making ANY call is paramount. First call takes precedence - there's just not enough time out there to counter-call your team-mate. If they call you through, just go!
