Well, that makes me a happy panda. We played these guys two weeks ago, and it's heartening to see another win taken out against them. They're not too shabby, reasonably coordinated, but their bowling really doesn't put much pressure on the batsmen. Generally quite full and not alot of short stuff. They have a couple of capable batsmen, and I'm sure I'll have the field in better positions for them.
We fielded soundly, and very well in patches. Some chances went astray, but most were taken.
Batting was solid, and apart from Katene and Simon getting bowled too many times a pretty consistent showing as well. I commented at the time that you guys might benefit from less backlift against the quicker bowlers as you seem to be still playing the shot when the bails are off. Give it some thought.

BTW, my vote for the ducky award would go to Phil for bowling before Paul could get back into position. Naturally, that ball got hit to the boundary where Paul would have been. Murphy's Law.

Well after Callum's comments, I feel that I have to point out that "Old Man" Gatchell owes me 4 runs. I mean, it's not my fault that he's too old & slow to get back into position quick enough now is it? :oP
